image-cutout

image-cutout is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from meitu/meitu-skills. It costs 72 tokens per session (2,259 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool that separates a foreground subject from its background and saves the subject as a transparent PNG image. It is intended for people, pets, products, icons, and stamps.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to prepare product images, portraits, pet images, logos or icons, and stamps for layouts where the original background should not appear.
Why use it?
It removes the need to select the subject and erase the background by hand for supported image types.

These are SkillSpector’s own severities. On a checked sample its high-severity flags on skills were ~96% false positives — a documented command, a public API, a “never do X” rule — so we show them as a caution to read, not a verdict. Why →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00072 $0.02259
Opus 5.5 $0.00029 $0.00904
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00452
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00226

Security

Grade A, and why

image-cutout scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Overview

DAG / API Mapping

  • MCP 入口:image_cutout,api_path=/v1/hydra_async,api_task_type=mtlab。
  • MCP 内部固定请求:request_payload.parameter.api_path=/v1/sod_2c_async、function_path=image-cutout、use_fe_rgba=true。
  • CLI 与 MCP 的用户参数保持一致;prompt、target_subject、exclude_subjects 均不是对外参数。

Dependencies

  • meitu-cli: >=2.0.6(npm install -g meitu-cli@latest)
MEITU_OPENAPI_TOOL_TASK_MODE=command

VISUAL = {OPENCLAW_HOME}/workspace/visual/

Core Workflow

Preflight → Execute → Deliver

Preflight

  1. meitu --version ≥ 2.0.6(否则 npm install -g meitu-cli@latest)
  2. 确认已跑过 meitu tools update(用 CONFIG AKSK)
  3. 当前 AKSK = EXEC,且 MEITU_OPENAPI_TOOL_TASK_MODE=command
  4. 解析 output_dir:openclaw.yaml → ./output/ |else → $VISUAL/output/image-cutout/;mkdir -p

Execute

非标准主体 建筑/植物/车辆/食物/家具/其他 返回 UNSUPPORTED_SUBJECT_CATEGORY 不调用
用户明确要求白底 白底、纯白背景 返回 UNSUPPORTED_SUBJECT_CATEGORY 不调用

  1. Agent
