agent-memory-profiles

agent-memory-profiles is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from memi-design/design-skills. It costs 21 tokens per session (208 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for organizing information that an AI agent should remember about users, projects, personas, and current tasks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to design persistent memory files, migrate agent memory, record user or project preferences, and review stored information before sensitive work.
Why use it?
It helps keep lasting preferences and project rules separate from temporary task details, while recording where memories came from and whether they may be outdated.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00021 $0.00208
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.00104
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00042
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00021

Security

Grade A, and why

agent-memory-profiles scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Agent Memory Profiles

Design durable user, project, persona, and task memory profiles for local agents.

When to Use

Use this Note when a Memoire or Studio run needs agent memory profile, persona file, context file, persistent memory.

Workflow

  1. Separate durable identity, user preferences, project rules, and temporary task state.
  2. Keep high-authority files small and specific. Long transcripts belong in searchable knowledge stores.
  3. Prefer append-only memory updates with date, source, and confidence fields.
  4. When migrating memory, preserve provenance and mark stale or unverifiable entries.
  5. Review memory before a sensitive run so old preferences do not override current instructions.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
