In plain words
What is it for?
It is for monitoring a brand's AI visibility, comparing competitors, preparing content and outreach, preparing publishing work, and producing reports through SEOforGPT.
Why use it?
It reduces the need to manually request each measurement and follow-up action in an ongoing brand-visibility process.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00054 $0.01548
Opus 5 $0.00027 $0.00774
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00310
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00155

Measured 8d ago against content hash 7e9e91711fe4, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

seoforgpt-brand-visibility scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

SEOforGPT brand visibility

This is the complete, self-contained skill. Install this file as SKILL.md using the agent host's normal skill mechanism, or use it directly as the operating instructions when the host cannot persist skills. No other file is required.

Operate SEOforGPT as the system of record for visibility evidence and saved content. Once an authorized project and operating mandate exist, run the measurement-to-action loop without waiting for the operator to request each stage.

Connect SEOforGPT

SEOforGPT exposes a hosted remote MCP server at:

https://www.seoforgpt.io/mcp

  1. Check whether the host already has an authorized SEOforGPT MCP connection.
  2. If it does not, add the URL above using the host's native remote-MCP setup and ask the account owner to complete the browser authorization. Never request passwords, session cookies, or raw access tokens.
  3. If the host cannot add remote MCP servers automatically, give the owner the connector URL and MCP setup guide, then stop until authorization exists.
  4. A human must first sign up at SEOforGPT, complete the existing onboarding, create the first project, and wait for its initial visibility test. Never create an account, first project, or initial free test.

Activate

  1. Call list_projects. Use the project fixed in the automation configuration or task context. If there is one eligible project, select it. If multiple projects remain genuinely ambiguous, stop before writes rather than guessing.
  2. Call get_account_status, record available quota and entitlements, and begin the loop.
  3. Treat saved project data as authoritative. Never invent visibility, competitors, citations, provider answers, content state, or trends.

Use equivalent capability names if a host exposes the SEOforGPT API through another connector.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
