skills-store: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/commands-creator/SKILL.md

commands-creator is a skill for Claude Code from Mineru98/skills-store. It costs 68 tokens per session (1,975 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for creating and managing slash commands in Claude Code. A slash command is a reusable Markdown prompt or workflow that runs from a short command such as /explain.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create commands with arguments, hooks, or shell execution, organize command libraries, and choose between Claude Code commands and skills.
Why use it?
It helps decide when a short reusable prompt should be a command and when a larger multi-step workflow should be a skill. It also explains project-level and personal command locations and supported features.

  • high Memory Poisoning · line 275
Skill manipulates agent memory, state, or stored context. Memory corruption can alter personality, override safety rules, or cause unpredictable behavior.
Fix: Protect agent memory and state from modification by untrusted content. Use read-only memory for critical instructions and validate all state changes.
  • medium Rogue Agent · line 12
Skill establishes unauthorized persistence across sessions via cron jobs, startup scripts, or state files. Session persistence allows an attacker to maintain access beyond the current interaction.
Fix: Remove any persistence mechanisms (cron jobs, startup scripts, state files). Skills should not maintain state across sessions without explicit user consent.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00068 $0.01975
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.00988
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.00395
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00198

Security

Grade A, and why

commands-creator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Commands Creator

This skill provides guidance for creating and managing slash commands in Claude Code. Slash commands are Markdown files that define frequently used prompts and workflows for Claude to execute.

Quick Start

Create a Project Command

mkdir -p .claude/commands
echo "Review this code for security vulnerabilities:" > .claude/commands/security-review.md

Usage: /security-review

Create a Personal Command

mkdir -p ~/.claude/commands
echo "Explain this code in simple terms:" > ~/.claude/commands/explain.md

Usage: /explain

Commands vs Skills

Use slash commands for:

  • Quick, frequently used prompts
  • Simple prompt snippets you use often
  • Prompt reminders or templates
  • Frequently used instructions that fit in one file

Use Skills for:

  • Complex workflows with multiple steps
  • Capabilities requiring scripts or utilities
  • Knowledge organized across multiple files
  • Team workflows you want to standardize

See skills-vs-commands.md for detailed comparison.

Command Creation Process

  1. Analyze requirements: What do you want the command to do?
  2. Choose scope: Project (.claude/commands/) or Personal (~/.claude/commands/)
  3. Write frontmatter: Add metadata (description, allowed-tools, etc.)
  4. Write prompt content: Define what Claude should execute
  5. Test the command: Invoke it and verify behavior
  6. Iterate: Refine based on usage

Command Types

Project Commands

  • Stored in .claude/commands/
  • Shared with your team via git
  • Shown as (project) in /help

Personal Commands

  • Stored in ~/.claude/commands/
  • Available across all projects
  • Shown as (user) in /help

Priority: Project commands take precedence over personal commands if both have the same name.

Plugin Commands

  • Provided by plugins
  • Automatically available when plugin is enabled
  • Can be namespaced: /plugin-name:command-name

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

commands-creator is a skill published in the GitHub repository Mineru98/skills-store (13 stars, last pushed 12d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 68 tokens to every session and 1,975 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
