Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00115 | $0.01559 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00046 | $0.00624 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00023 | $0.00312 |

Grade A, and why
release scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 137 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
release
Cut a DisMech release. A release is a GitHub release on a v0.1.x tag. Publishing
it is what rebuilds the bulk exports and makes the Downloads page
(https://dismech.monarchinitiative.org/downloads/index.html) point at the new
files. There is no local build step and no version string to edit — the tag is
the version (uv-dynamic-versioning, pyproject.toml).
When to use
- The user asks for a "fresh release", a version bump, or to refresh the Downloads page / bulk exports.
- New release artifacts have been added and need to ship.
Not for: NDEx publishing alone (that is a separate manual workflow, below), the PyPI package in isolation (a release publishes it as a side effect), or the website page build (the page is static and self-updating — see below).
The one trap: never release from a stale checkout
The primary checkout drifts tens or hundreds of commits behind origin/main
between releases. A release tags a commit, so always sync first and tag
origin/main's tip, never the local tip.
git fetch origin main
git rev-list --left-right --count main...origin/main # expect "0 N": 0 local-ahead, N behind
If there are 0 local-ahead commits, fast-forward the primary checkout (it
must stay on main; the reflog makes this reversible):
# First confirm no untracked file collides with an incoming added file:
comm -12 <(git ls-files --others --exclude-standard | sort) \
<(git diff --name-only --diff-filter=A main origin/main | sort)
# If that prints nothing, fast-forward:
git merge --ff-only origin/main
If the count shows local-ahead commits, stop and ask — do not force anything.
Either way, you can sidestep drift entirely by pinning the tag to an explicit
SHA with --target <sha> below.
Pick the version
Next in sequence after the latest tag. These are plain increments, v0.1.N.
gh release list --limit 3 # read the latest tag, add 1 to the patch number
gh release view vX.Y.Z # confirm the chosen tag does NOT already exist ("release not found")
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

release is a skill published in the GitHub repository monarch-initiative/dismech (69 stars, last pushed today), licensed BSD-3-Clause. It adds 115 tokens to every session and 1,559 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-24.
