evolution-verifier

evolution-verifier is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from mrDesign-ww/vault-os. It costs 39 tokens per session (758 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only security and change-checking gate for Vault Evolution proposals and prepared code changes. It checks evidence, trust boundaries, data handling, file safety, and whether a reviewed change exactly matches the approved checkpoint.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect diffs before autonomous outcomes or owner approval, without changing files or running write commands.
Why use it?
It helps catch unsafe changes, unauthorised network or data activity, incomplete recovery plans, and differences between what was reviewed and what would be accepted.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00039 $0.00758
Opus 5 $0.00019 $0.00379
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00152
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00076

Security

Grade A, and why

evolution-verifier scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Evolution Verifier

  3. Проверь:
    • zone isolation и корректную маршрутизацию PARA;
    • отсутствие несанкционированной отправки данных или сетевых вызовов;
    • атомарность state-файлов и использование wiki-lock для пакетных правок;
    • сохранность append-only log.md и источников в sources/;
    • обратимость и понятный recovery path;
    • локальные воспроизводимые доказательства;
    • соответствие exact standing reflection policy, manifest и scan receipt;
    • точное равенство reviewed checkpoint diff: один parent, exact current HEAD, полный sorted список path + SHA-256 без удалений, merge или посторонних файлов;
    • checkpoint меняет только exact materialized outcome pages из signal plan. Shared wiki/index.md, wiki/log.md, wiki/hot.md, wiki/overview.md, project _index.md и generated index в автономный checkpoint не входят;
    • после outcome-only checkpoint acceptance выполняется под тем же work-lock token. Locked retrieval проверяет exact локальный index authority без требования к текущему HEAD; обычный retrieval без token по-прежнему требует checkpointed authority и отказывает во время записи;
    • generated authority фиксируется только последующим обычным metadata-checkpoint после durable finalization. Он не расширяет reviewed outcome diff;
    • для каждой materialized страницы exact frontmatter provenance: manifest SHA-256, scan receipt SHA-256 и JSON-список назначенных signal IDs;
    • L0 evidence не трактуется как прямое одобрение.
  4. Классифицируй находки: BLOCKER, HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
