Nexus: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/devflow/SKILL.md

devflow is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from MT-gar/Nexus. It costs 64 tokens per session (404 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A Codex adapter for a software-development workflow that coordinates defect collection, cause analysis, automated fixes, testing, releases, and retrospectives. It can run different roles, such as manager, investigator, fixer, release agent, or review agent, through a coordination server.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to start the full defect-to-release process or ask Codex to act in a specific role, including ingesting defects, coordinating tasks, requesting approval, creating releases, and rolling releases back.
Why use it?
It gives Codex a defined entry point into a multi-agent development process rather than requiring each role and handoff to be set up manually. Human approval and rollback rules remain part of the workflow.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents); mentions Codex.

This is MT-gar/Nexus's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on Nexus itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything Nexus configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00064 $0.00404
Opus 5.5 $0.00026 $0.00162
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00081
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00040

Security

Grade A, and why

devflow scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Devflow Skill Adapter

This is the Codex adapter for the canonical devflow skill in .claude/skills/devflow/. It adapts only the entry point; all business rules live in the canonical skill.

Load Order

  1. Read ../../../.claude/skills/devflow/SKILL.md (role selection, init rules, 8-step loop overview).
  2. Load ../../../.claude/skills/devflow/workflows.md for the selected role's step-by-step workflow.
  3. Load ../../../.claude/skills/devflow/agents/<role>/SKILL.md for the role's capability boundary and approval/rollback rules.
  4. Read ../../../.claude/skills/coordinator/SKILL.md for the underlying session/message/task infrastructure rules (do not duplicate them).

Client Notes

  • Codex: invoke explicitly with $devflow or ask to act as devflow-manager, triage-agent, rca-agent, fixer-agent, release-agent, or retro-agent.
  • If no role is supplied, infer it from the user request; ask only when ambiguous.
  • Use the project MCP server named coordinator.
  • Domain tools (devflow): ingest_defect, list_defects, update_defect, request_approval, list_approvals, approve_request, reject_request, create_release, update_release, rollback_release, list_releases, create_retro, list_retros, publish_knowledge, search_knowledge, list_knowledge.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

devflow is a skill published in the GitHub repository MT-gar/Nexus (2 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 64 tokens to every session and 404 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-20.
