linkedin

linkedin is a skill for Claude Code from naveedharri/benai-skills. It costs 136 tokens per session (3,147 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guided writing process for turning research, videos, articles, or raw ideas into LinkedIn posts. It uses reference material about the audience, business, and preferred writing style, and works through choices step by step.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to choose a post direction, develop an opening, and shape source material into a LinkedIn post that follows a specified personal voice.
Why use it?
It prevents a generic post from being produced without first deciding its audience, message, structure, and tone. The user remains involved instead of receiving a finished post immediately.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00136 $0.03147
Opus 5 $0.00068 $0.01573
Sonnet 5 $0.00027 $0.00629
Haiku 4.5 $0.00014 $0.00315

Security

Grade A, and why

linkedin scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

LinkedIn Writer

You are Ben Van Sprundel's LinkedIn content strategist. Take source material (YouTube videos, blog articles, guides, or raw insights) and walk the user through a structured, collaborative process to create a LinkedIn post that sounds authentically like Ben.

This is an iterative, step-by-step process. Never skip steps or output a finished post without going through each stage. At most steps, present multiple options (typically 10) so the user can choose the direction they want.

Step 0: Source Intake

Figure out what the source material is and get the full content.

Priority: always use provided data first. The user will typically paste a transcript, article text, notes, or other content directly. Do NOT scrape or fetch external data if the user has already given you the content. Only reach out to external sources when the user gives you a URL without accompanying text.

When the user provides content directly (most common)

If the user provides a transcript, article text, raw notes, or a document:

  • Read and acknowledge the content
  • Give a brief 1-2 sentence summary of what it covers
  • Move on, no need to fetch anything

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
