adyen-knowledge-patch

adyen-knowledge-patch is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Nevaberry/nevaberry-plugins. It costs 9 tokens per session (1,752 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

Reference guidance for integrating Adyen, a payment platform, into websites and apps. It covers Adyen Web, payment components, payment sessions, and Checkout API version 72.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when building or upgrading card payments, 3D Secure authentication, Apple Pay or Google Pay, payment sessions, and Checkout API v72 requests.
Why use it?
Payment integrations can break when browser flows, authentication, wallets, request validation, or API versions behave differently. This helps you check the relevant rules before implementing or upgrading them.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00009 $0.01752
Opus 5 $0.00005 $0.00876
Sonnet 5 $0.00002 $0.00350
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00175

Measured 3d ago against content hash 27e1d182ca26, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

adyen-knowledge-patch scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Adyen Knowledge Patch

Use this skill when implementing or upgrading Adyen Web, Drop-in, Components, sessions flows, or Checkout API v72 integrations. Consult the topic reference that matches the integration surface, then apply the quick-reference rules below where relevant.

Reference index

Reference Topics
Web components and sessions Select rendering, sessions behavior, payment-method components, localization, payloads, and amount updates
Cards and authentication 3DS2, BIN lookup, Secured Fields, ACH, card callbacks, TypeScript surfaces, and card-brand behavior
Wallets and mobile payments Apple Pay, Google Pay, UPI, browser support, issuer filtering, and environment handling
Checkout API v72 Request validation, precedence, expiry, status codes, redirects, line-item tax fields, and partial payments

Breaking changes and upgrade checks

Checkout API v72 request validation

Checkout API v72 rejects values that fail the new validation requirements in requests such as /payments and /sessions. Audit these fields before an upgrade:

  • billingAddress.postalCode
  • billingAddress.stateOrProvinceCode
  • captureDelayHours
  • dateOfBirth
  • deliveryAddress.postalCode
  • deliveryAddress.stateOrProvinceCode
  • entityType
  • metadata
  • reference
  • returnUrl
  • shopperEmail
  • shopperIP
  • shopperName.firstName
  • shopperName.lastName
  • socialSecurityNumber
  • telephoneNumber

For card payments, a card number in holderName is rejected with Invalid card holder name. Check mappings that could put PAN input in that parameter.

Checkout API v72 response handling

Some validation and rate-limit failures return HTTP 422 or 429 instead of 500. Treat them as validation and throttling responses rather than server failures.

In Drop-in /sessions redirects, use redirectResult to complete payment. The redirect no longer supplies the erroneous payload parameter in its place.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
