onescience-knowledge-capture

onescience-knowledge-capture is a skill for Claude Code from onescience-ai/OneSkills. It costs 99 tokens per session (4,699 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A knowledge-capture workflow that turns a completed interaction into a structured, reviewable contribution for a repository. It records goals, decisions, results, failures, and reusable lessons without treating guesses as facts.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to document reusable knowledge, failure cases, resource choices, or possible updates to skills and workflows. It can create a contribution document or an issue payload, and submit an issue only after explicit authorization.
Why use it?
It removes the need to manually reconstruct useful lessons from a long conversation. It also separates safe local drafts from optional external issue submissions and avoids saving raw transcripts by default.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00099 $0.04699
Opus 5.5 $0.00040 $0.01880
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00940
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00470

Security

Grade A, and why

onescience-knowledge-capture scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 25d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 3 executable files (scripts/render_issue_payload.py, scripts/submit_gitee_issue.py, scripts/validate_contribution.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

OneScience Knowledge Capture

运行环境(跨平台):本文档示例命令统一写作 python;Windows 上通常可直接用 python,Linux/macOS 上若无 python 命令请改用 python3(如 python3 skills/onescience-knowledge-capture/scripts/submit_gitee_issue.py ...)。本技能的三个脚本(validate_contribution.py、render_issue_payload.py、submit_gitee_issue.py)均为纯标准库实现、无第三方依赖、无平台专有逻辑,在 Windows 与 Linux 上行为一致。

  2. 默认不写入 skills/onescience-primitives/assets/,不修改已有 SKILL.md,不修改 onescience-orchestrator。

除非 inputs.capture.target_directory 明确指定,贡献写入:

skills/onescience-knowledge-capture/contributions/<domain>/<contribution_id>/
  contribution.md # 人工审查和后续知识迁移的主文档
  contribution.json # 机器可读元数据、执行/验证轨迹和集成候选
  issue_payload.json     # issue_mode != none 时生成
  submission_card.md # 由 render_issue_payload.py 生成,供人工在 Gitee 网页端复制提交

<domain> 使用 bio、cfd、climate、matchem、general 或 unknown。contribution_id 使用日期加稳定短名,例如 2026-09-07_scanpy_qc_fallback。

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

onescience-knowledge-capture is a skill published in the GitHub repository onescience-ai/OneSkills (23 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 99 tokens to every session and 4,699 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-07.
