obligation-deadline-watch

obligation-deadline-watch is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from OpenDigitalProductFactory/opendigitalproductfactory. It costs 19 tokens per session (582 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A deadline-monitoring routine for obligations, control reviews, and licence renewals. It checks records against a 30-day window and reports overdue or approaching items, including recurring items with no next date.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review overdue items, upcoming deadlines, accountable owners, and broken recurrence dates.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of missing a required action, review, or renewal. It also exposes records whose recurrence settings cannot produce a future due date.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00019 $0.00582
Opus 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00233
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00116
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00058

Security

Grade A, and why

obligation-deadline-watch scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Obligation deadline watch

What is falling due, what is already overdue, and what declares a recurrence that will never fall due at all?

What runs, and when

This skill is taskType: recurring with a declared cadence of 11 6 * * * (06:11 UTC). It is the coworker half of the obligation-assurance-watch work shape (apps/web/lib/work-management/work-shapes.ts, TAK §8.11).

The deterministic half runs first: the obligation assurance watch job sweeps at 05:40 UTC daily, reading

  • Obligation.frequency and Obligation.reviewDate
  • Control.reviewFrequency, Control.lastReviewedAt, Control.nextReviewDate
  • LicenseRequirementReference.staleAfterDays, .renewalCadenceHint

against a 30-day look-ahead, and raises an assurance finding for each record inside the horizon.

At Balanced proactivity this skill's turn runs weekly (Mondays); at Assertive it runs daily. At Quiet it does not self-drive, and the operator reads the findings directly on the assurance surface.

What it reports

  1. Overdue, oldest first, with the recorded accountable owner.
  2. Due inside 30 days.
  3. Recurrence with no next date — an obligation or control that declares a cadence and has no date attached. This is the most important row: it reads to an operator as a control in force and behaves as one that is not, and without a next date nobody will ever be told about it again.

What it will not do

  • It does not decide the response. Accepting, deferring, or remediating an obligation is the accountable owner's call and the work shape requires a governed decision for it.
  • It does not invent a due date. Every date it reports traces to a recorded column, named in the finding's evidence.
  • It does not report a clean compliance position from an empty database. An unread estate and a clear one look identical and are not the same, so an empty sweep stops and says so.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
