evo-d3v6-stock-visualization

evo-d3v6-stock-visualization is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from OpenLAIR/OpenSkill. It costs 55 tokens per session (366 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A code generator for a D3.js version 6 browser visualisation of stock data. It creates a force-directed bubble chart, a data table, tooltips, legends, and linked highlighting between the chart and table.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to generate JavaScript for sector-grouped bubbles, market-cap sizing, table formatting, and chart-to-table selection.
Why use it?
It removes the need to write the repeated chart, layout, and interaction code for this type of stock dashboard.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00055 $0.00366
Opus 5 $0.00028 $0.00183
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00073
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00037

Security

Grade A, and why

evo-d3v6-stock-visualization scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/utils.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

evo-d3v6-stock-visualization

Generates visualization.js with D3.js v6 force-simulation bubble chart, data table, and interactions.

Usage

import sys
sys.path.insert(0, '/app/environment/skills/evo-d3v6-stock-visualization/scripts')
from utils import generate_visualization_js

generate_visualization_js('/root/output/js/visualization.js')

Functions

  • generate_visualization_js(output_path) - Generates complete visualization.js
  • build_force_simulation_code() - Returns JS for force simulation with sector clustering
  • build_bubble_chart_code() - Returns JS for SVG bubble chart with labels, legend, tooltip
  • build_data_table_code() - Returns JS for HTML data table with formatted market cap
  • build_interaction_code() - Returns JS for bidirectional click highlighting
  • format_market_cap_js() - Returns JS function to format numbers as 1.64T, 232.51B, etc.

Key Design Decisions

  • D3 v6 event signature: (event, d) not (d, i)
  • scaleSqrt for area-proportional bubble sizing
  • ETFs get uniform radius (no marketCap data)
  • No tooltip shown for ETF entries
  • forceX/forceY with sector-specific coordinates for clustering
  • forceCollide prevents overlap
  • Bidirectional click: bubble click highlights table row (scrolls into view), table row click highlights bubble
Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
