evo-output-serialization

evo-output-serialization is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from OpenLAIR/OpenSkill. It costs 34 tokens per session (381 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A file-format utility that saves motion labels as JSON and two-dimensional boolean masks as compressed NumPy NPZ files. The masks use CSR, a sparse format that stores only true cells instead of the whole grid.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to export frame-to-frame motion labels and per-frame mask data for later processing or evaluation.
Why use it?
It puts analysis results into predictable files while avoiding unnecessary storage for masks that contain mostly false values.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00034 $0.00381
Opus 5 $0.00017 $0.00191
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00076
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00038

Security

Grade A, and why

evo-output-serialization scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/utils.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

evo-output-serialization

Serializes analysis results to the required output formats.

Key Functions

  • dense_to_csr_manual(dense_mask) — Converts 2D bool array to CSR (data, indices, indptr)
  • save_csr_masks_npz(mask_list, output_file, shape) — Saves masks to NPZ with CSR format
  • export_motion_labels_json(motion_results, output_path) — Saves motion labels to JSON

Usage

import sys
sys.path.insert(0, '/app/environment/skills/evo-output-serialization/scripts')
from utils import save_csr_masks_npz, export_motion_labels_json

# motion_results: list of (sample_idx_prev, sample_idx_curr, labels_list)
export_motion_labels_json(motion_results, '/root/pred_instructions.json')

# mask_list: list of boolean 2D arrays, shape: [H, W]
save_csr_masks_npz(mask_list, '/root/pred_dyn_masks.npz', shape=[H, W])

CSR Format Details

For each frame i, stores:

  • f_{i}_data: bool array of True values
  • f_{i}_indices: int32 column indices of nonzero elements
  • f_{i}_indptr: int32 array of length H+1 (row pointers)
  • shape: [H, W] as int32 array

JSON Format

{
    "0->1": ["Pan Right"],
    "1->2": ["Stay"],
    ...
}

Keys are "sample_idx_prev->sample_idx_curr" (0-based sample indices).

Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

evo-output-serialization is a skill published in the GitHub repository OpenLAIR/OpenSkill (88 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 34 tokens to every session and 381 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-11.
