evo-pddl-plan-formatter

evo-pddl-plan-formatter is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from OpenLAIR/OpenSkill. It costs 50 tokens per session (365 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A planner that reads tasks from a JSON file, asks a PDDL solver for a plan, formats each action, and writes the results to files. PDDL is a file format for describing planning problems and their allowed actions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to run all listed planning tasks, write function-style or standard PDDL action lines, and create output files even when a task fails.
Why use it?
It automates the repeated work of solving many tasks and producing the exact action format expected by a verifier.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00050 $0.00365
Opus 5 $0.00025 $0.00182
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00073
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00036

Security

Grade A, and why

evo-pddl-plan-formatter scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/utils.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

evo-pddl-plan-formatter

Orchestrates solving of all PDDL tasks from problem.json and writes correctly formatted plan output files.

Key Functions

  • run_all_tasks(problem_json_path, base_dir=None) - Main orchestrator
  • write_plan_custom_format(plan_actions, filename) - Write action_name(p1, p2) format
  • write_plan_pddl_format(plan_actions, filename) - Write (action_name p1 p2) format
  • format_action_instance(action_name, params) - Format single action

Usage

import sys
sys.path.insert(0, '/app/environment/skills/evo-pddl-plan-formatter/scripts')
from utils import run_all_tasks

results = run_all_tasks('/app/problem.json', base_dir='/app')

Output Format

The verifier expects plans in action_name(param1, param2, ...) format, one action per line. Example:

move_seg_ppdoor_0_40_seg_tww1_0_200_north_south_medium(airplane_cfbeg)
startup_seg_tww1_0_200_north_medium(airplane_cfbeg)

Dependencies

  • evo-pddl-solver (for solve_pddl_task function)

Notes

  • unified_planning lowercases all names during parsing
  • Plan output paths are relative to base_dir (default: directory of problem.json)
  • Empty files are written for failed tasks to avoid file-not-found errors
Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
