Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

SkillSpector: 1 finding, up to high
These are SkillSpector’s own severities. On a checked sample its high-severity flags on skills were ~96% false positives — a documented command, a public API, a “never do X” rule — so we show them as a caution to read, not a verdict. Why →
- high Tool Misuse · line 16 Tool parameters are crafted to achieve unintended or unsafe behavior. Parameter abuse can bypass intended safety checks (e.g. shell=True, --force, dangerous glob patterns).Fix: Validate all tool parameters against an allowlist. What it costs to keep this loaded
Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00043 | $0.01770 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00022 | $0.00885 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00009 | $0.00354 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00177 |
Grade A, and why
commit-push-main scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 51 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Commit and push the default branch
Ship the working tree on the default branch of the repository. This skill mirrors commit-push-current with one difference: the push target is the resolved default branch, and the skill refuses any other branch. It never creates or switches branches. Explicit invocation authorizes the commit and the push on the default branch.
Contract
| Field | Bound contract |
|---|---|
| Trigger | A human explicitly invokes this skill to commit and push directly to the default branch. |
| Authority | Human-only: explicit human invocation is the authorization. The skill previews the exact push target and the commit set before the push. The write set is local commits on the default branch and one push to origin/<default>. Rollback is git reset --hard <prior-HEAD> for new commits and a revert commit for pushed work. No remote mutation beyond the previewed push. |
| Side effect | Local commits on the default branch and one git push to origin/<default>. No branch creation, no branch switch, no pull request, no force push. |
| Done | The default branch is committed and pushed: git status --porcelain is empty and git rev-list --left-right --count origin/<default>...HEAD prints 0 0. |
Inputs
- Working-tree state (
git status, git diff HEAD): required, gathered by the skill. - Current branch and recent history (
git branch --show-current,git log --oneline -10): required, gathered by the skill. - Remote default branch (
git rev-parse --abbrev-ref origin/HEAD, thengit ls-remote --symref origin HEAD, thengh repo view --json defaultBranchRef --jq '.defaultBranchRef.name'verified againstgit ls-remote --heads origin <default>): required. When every resolver fails, the skill stops; a default branch is never guessed. - Push-target state (
git rev-list --left-right --count origin/<default>...HEAD): required, gathered by the skill.NO_REMOTE_BRANCHmeans the local tracking reforigin/<default>is absent, not that the branch is missing; step 1 verifies the remote and stops only when the branch is truly absent.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

commit-push-main is a skill published in the GitHub repository OutlineDriven/outline-driven-development (52 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 43 tokens to every session and 1,770 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-06.
Other skills, from other repositories
commit-push-pr
Use when asked to commit, push a feature branch, and open or update a pull request with gh in one pass. Not for a push with no PR: use commit-push. Not for a PR body alone: use create-pull-request.
commit
Use when asked to commit changes, create a typed branch, format history for a changelog, or rewrite messages of HEAD or an unpushed range. Not for pushing or a PR: use commit-push or commit-push-pr.
git-branchless
Use when asked for multi-commit stack edits, rebases, fixups, or stacked-PR publishing with branchless git idioms. Not for plain-git workflows in repos without branchless.
publish-branch
Use when asked to publish the checked-out branch: commit and push it on whatever branch it is, the default branch included. Not for creating branches, PRs, force pushes, or pushing any other branch; when the request excludes the default branch, use commit-push-current.
commit-push
Use when asked to commit and push to a feature branch off the default branch, with no pull request. Not for a PR: use commit-push-pr. Not for the checked-out branch: use commit-push-current.
commit-push-current
Use when a human explicitly asks to commit and push to the checked-out branch, with no branch creation and no pull request. Not for the default branch by name: use commit-push-main.
