Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00132 | $0.04745 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00053 | $0.01898 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00026 | $0.00949 |

Grade A, and why
oxy-semantic-modeling scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 397 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Oxy semantic modeling
The reference is upstream and maintained — read it rather than guessing:
https://www.oxygen-hq.com/docs/guide/build/semantic-model/simple-model
(the section entry point; views, entities, dimensions, measures,
topics, modeling, and use-in-agents sit beside it).
That page owns the field lists. This skill deliberately does not restate them — a copied schema stays confidently wrong long after the real one moves. What follows is the craft and the traps it does not carry, with examples taken from one production workspace's 39 views and 23 topics.
Read next:
- templates/view-template.yml and templates/topic-template.yml — annotated starting points for a new view or topic.
- references/warehouse-casts.md — the per-warehouse cast for a date column that is not stored as a date.
View anatomy
A view is one physical table plus the vocabulary an agent is allowed to use against it.
name: sales_daily
datasource: "clickhouse"
table: "restaurant_analytics.sales_daily_metrics"
entities are the join graph, not decoration. The primary entity names
the grain of the row; foreign entities are the edges to other views; parent:
states hierarchy (a sales day belongs to a restaurant).
entities:
- name: sales_day
type: primary
key: sales_day_key
parent: restaurant
- name: restaurant
type: foreign
key: restaurant_id
key names a dimension, not a column. In a restaurants view the entity
restaurant has key: restaurant_id, and the restaurant_id dimension is
expr: guid — the physical column is guid. So resolve a key against the
view's dimensions: list, never against the table's columns; the reference's
entities page carries the same warning.
Declare a foreign entity for every foreign-key column. When a fact view
holds an ID pointing at another view's primary key (orders.restaurant_id →
restaurants.guid), give the fact view a type: foreign entity with the
same name: as the lookup view's primary entity and key: set to the FK
dimension. That edge is what lets a query group orders by
restaurants.location_name instead of by the raw ID; without it, every chart
and table built on the view renders opaque UUIDs. A foreign entity with no
matching primary anywhere is only a warning — the join silently does not
exist.
What ships with it
3 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

oxy-semantic-modeling is a skill published in the GitHub repository oxy-hq/oxygen (203 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 132 tokens to every session and 4,745 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-14.
