Purpose

To provide a first line of defense against common security threats in the codebase.

  1. SCA (Software Composition Analysis): Checking dependencies for known CVEs.
  2. SAST (Static Application Security Testing): Scanning code for injection, XSS, and weak crypto.
  3. Secrets: Scanning for hardcoded API keys, tokens, or passwords.
  4. IaC Scan: Checking terraform/docker configs for misconfigurations.

  • Fail the build on "High" or "Critical" findings.
  • Document and justify any "False Positives."
