Claude Code skills for music production — song analysis (tempo/key/stems/chords/lyrics), bass-to-MIDI transcription (CREPE), and building/reinterpreting arrangements in Ableton Live via MCP.
Skill Claude CodeCodex
Use when composing or arranging a song in Ableton Live — section design, track layout, bass and drum patterns in any meter, lead lines, effects chains, dynamics — including reinterpreting a song in a new genre or building from a chart or MIDI.
Skill Claude CodeCodex
Use when controlling Ableton Live through the AbletonMCP server — tracks, clips, scenes, MIDI notes, instruments and effects, device parameters, mixing, automation, tempo or time signature — or when the Live connection or a tool call fails.
Skill Claude CodeCodex
Use when the user has played bass or another single-note instrument (or sung a line) and wants the take as a MIDI file, an Ableton Live clip, or a tab/chart.
Skill Claude CodeCodex
Use when a song recording has to become tempo, time signature, key, stems, a bass line, chords per bar, lyric timing, a drum-pattern read, or a chord+lyric chart for a band — including songs in odd or unknown meters.
Skill Claude CodeCodex
Use when the user wants an existing song rebuilt, covered or reinterpreted in Ableton Live — analysis feeding a Live build, end to end. For analysis alone use song-analysis; for a take the user played, bass-transcribe.
