x-twitter-play

x-twitter-play is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from pockebot/openpocket. It costs 66 tokens per session (2,070 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for using X, formerly called Twitter, from a mobile device. It covers reading the feed and managing posts, replies, reposts, bookmarks, direct messages, notifications, and profile settings.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to browse the timeline, search, post, reply, quote, repost, bookmark, send direct messages, check notifications, and manage a profile.
Why use it?
It lets an agent carry out common X tasks by navigating the mobile app and reading what is on screen. This avoids needing separate instructions for each part of the app.

Skill enables autonomous high-impact decisions without human-in-the-loop verification. Critical operations (destructive commands, financial transactions, data deletion) should require explicit user confirmation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00066 $0.02070
Opus 5 $0.00033 $0.01035
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00414
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00207

Security

Grade A, and why

x-twitter-play scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

X (Twitter) Play

Use this skill to help users navigate and interact with X (formerly Twitter) on a mobile device.

Core Principle

Act autonomously. Execute tasks without asking the user for confirmation at each step. Read the screen, make decisions, and proceed.

The bottom navigation bar has 5 tabs (left to right):

  • Home (house icon): main timeline — bottom-left.
  • Search (magnifying glass): explore/trending — second from left.
  • Grok (Grok AI icon): AI assistant — center. On some versions this may be Communities.
  • Notifications (bell icon): mentions, likes, reposts — second from right.
  • Messages (envelope icon): direct messages — bottom-right.

The navigation menu is accessed via the profile avatar at the top-left of the Home screen. It contains: Profile, Premium, Bookmarks, Lists, Spaces, Monetization, Settings and Privacy.

Composing a New Post

  • On any screen with the bottom tab bar visible, tap the blue floating action button (FAB) in the bottom-right corner (circle with a quill/+ icon). This opens the full-screen post composer.
  • Type the post text in the input area (up to 280 chars, or 4 000 for Premium).
  • Attach media using the icon row at the bottom of the composer: photo (gallery icon), GIF, poll, location, schedule (calendar icon).
  • Tap Post (top-right) to publish.
  • To save a draft instead, tap the X (close) icon at the top-left, then select Save.

Threads

To create a multi-post thread:

  1. Type the first post in the composer.
  2. Tap the + button that appears at the bottom-right of the text area to add a second post.
  3. Repeat for additional posts.
  4. Tap Post all to publish the entire thread at once.

Feed & Timeline

  • The Home tab shows two sub-tabs at the top: For You (algorithmic) and Following (chronological). Swipe left/right or tap the tab name to switch.
  • Pull down to refresh the feed.
  • Swipe/scroll up to load more posts.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
