claim-registration

claim-registration is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from prismatic7/MASA. It costs 20 tokens per session (200 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A procedure for adding a claim to a MASA record while recording what kind of claim it is and where it came from. A claim may be heard, measured, inferred, interpreted, speculative, or undetermined.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for registering claims with their actor, evidence, method, timing, uncertainty, confidence, and disclosure information while preserving conflicting accounts separately.
Why use it?
It prevents observations, calculations, opinions, guesses, and unknowns from being mixed together or presented with unsupported certainty.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00020 $0.00200
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.00100
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00040
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00020

Measured 7d ago against content hash 08fade7cc337, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

claim-registration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Claim registration

  1. Choose exactly one claim kind: heard, measured, inferred, interpreted, speculative, or undetermined.
  2. Name the actor, subject, evidence basis, method, creation time, uncertainty, confidence state, and disclosure.
  3. For heard claims, reference a listening pass and its aperture.
  4. For measured claims, supply a value, unit, method, and window or range.
  5. For inferred claims, supply evidence and the named rule, comparison, or model.
  6. For interpreted claims, declare the position or contextual frame.
  7. For speculative claims, state the rationale and boundary from observation.
  8. For undetermined claims, name the reason without substituting a fabricated value.
  9. Preserve contradictory or incomparable claims as separate attributed accounts.

Never infer confidence from actor type, source freshness, system health, or rhetorical certainty.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

claim-registration is a skill published in the GitHub repository prismatic7/MASA (0 stars, last pushed 19d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 20 tokens to every session and 200 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
