qa-review

qa-review is a skill for Claude Code from pwdev-solucoes/pwdev-claude-marketplace. It costs 22 tokens per session (1,477 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A read-only quality-assurance review guide for checking whether requirements, test coverage, results, evidence, defects, and the final QA decision support one another.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps compare supplied test records with the governing requirements, identify unsupported results and exclusions, and report missing or inconsistent evidence.
Why use it?
It finds gaps without changing product code, tests, approvals, evidence, or recorded results. This keeps the review independent from the work being assessed.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00022 $0.01477
Opus 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00591
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00295
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00148

Security

Grade A, and why

qa-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Review QA coverage read-only

Assess whether the supplied QA record covers the governing requirements and supports its stated results. This is a read-only review: it reports gaps and findings without changing product code, tests, contracts, approvals, evidence, or recorded state. Read workflow, safety, artifacts, and evidence first.

Inputs

  • Project root, target/environment/build/change identity, explicit objective or intent, identified contract source/hash, and the complete supplied criterion catalog with exact IDs, text, applicability, and current results.
  • Risks, planned and executed cases, stable case/attempt IDs, expected and observed values, exclusions, prerequisites, limitations, and verified local evidence references.
  • Complete current-defect inventory, including unlinked and out-of-scope defects, retest history, findings already accepted or deferred, and the recorded QA verdict.
  • Explicit authorization boundary for this read-only review and any separately proposed follow-up. Load, penetration, production, and external effects require separate exact authorization.

Procedure

  1. Preserve the explicit objective or intent, target, contract, criterion IDs/text, existing results, findings, limitations, approvals, and authorization exactly. Never infer missing criteria, applicability, approval, execution permission, or risk acceptance.
  2. Identify affected surfaces and consult the installed applicable qa-specialist-* skills, starting with qa-specialist-requirements; use functional, API, Web, mobile, data, accessibility, security, performance, automation, CI/CD, regression, defects, metrics, or production specialists only when their surfaces apply. An unavailable applicable specialist is a limitation. Specialist guidance does not expand authorization.
  3. Review requirements first: confirm catalog completeness, preserve each ID and text, and assess applicability, clarity, consistency, testability, observable oracle, source identity, and traceability. Ambiguity or contradiction remains BLOCKED; proposed wording is never an authoritative correction.
  4. Review coverage against each applicable requirement and risk. Trace inclusions, exclusions, cases, attempts, environments, data, positive/negative/boundary/recovery paths, expected and observed results, evidence, and defects. A hash proves integrity, not semantic completeness.
  5. Report findings with stable IDs, affected requirement/risk/case/defect IDs, severity and rationale, supporting evidence or explicit evidence gap, owner, and smallest valid follow-up. Keep proven failures, coverage gaps, limitations, and editorial observations distinct.
  6. Apply verdict precedence to the supplied facts without mutating them: a proven current in-scope failure, including an unlinked defect, is FAIL; otherwise any missing criterion, coverage, evidence, prerequisite, capability, decision, or unresolved finding is BLOCKED. PASS requires every applicable criterion PASS, no current in-scope defects, no pending item or limitation, and a complete review scope. Zero applicable criteria is BLOCKED.
  7. Return the review read-only. It never corrects, modifies, or mutates the product, tests, contracts, approvals, evidence, findings, or state. Product code corrections are only allowed when explicitly requested in a separate authorized operation.
  8. A later inert export may use qa_report.py report --manifest PATH --project-root PATH; the report does not run or re-run tests and does not resolve findings.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

qa-review is a skill published in the GitHub repository pwdev-solucoes/pwdev-claude-marketplace (3 stars, last pushed 10d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 22 tokens to every session and 1,477 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-16.
