cl-mcp-server-integration

cl-mcp-server-integration is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from quasi/cl-mcp-server. It costs 29 tokens per session (1,679 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A design assistant that turns a plain-language application description into configuration files for DigitalOcean App Platform. App Platform is a service for deploying web applications and their supporting components.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for designing new App Platform architectures, analyzing a repository, creating app specifications, and generating deployment templates.
Why use it?
It helps translate application requirements into deployable services, workers, jobs, databases, routing, health checks, and environment variables.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00029 $0.01679
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00839
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00336
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00168

Measured 5d ago against content hash 3d0f0ddb33f9, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

cl-mcp-server-integration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

cl-mcp-server — Integration Skill

A running SBCL process with a persistent REPL exposed as 36 MCP tools. Definitions accumulate across calls — defun in call 1 is callable in call 2.

Quick Start

Always call first:

tool: get-usage-guide
args: {}

Returns workflow guide with current best practices.

Minimal evaluation:

tool: evaluate-lisp
args: {"code": "(+ 1 2)"}
→ "=> 3"

Core Concepts

Persistent Session

State is global within a server process:

  • defun, defvar, defclass, ql:quickload → persist for all subsequent calls
  • let, let* bindings → scoped to one evaluation
  • reset-session clears everything

Output Format

evaluate-lisp returns a text string with labeled sections:

[stdout]
Hello

[stderr]
WARNING: something

[Backtrace]
0: ...

=> 42

Only non-empty sections appear. Return value is always last.

Error Behavior

Errors do NOT crash the server. They return a formatted error string:

[ERROR] DIVISION-BY-ZERO
arithmetic error DIVISION-BY-ZERO signalled
Operation was (/ 1 0).

[Backtrace]
0: (/ 1 0)
...

isError: false in the MCP response even on Lisp errors. Check for [ERROR] prefix to detect failures.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
