What is sync-backend-contract?

A workflow for checking or updating the REST contract between a PHP application and a Python backend. A REST contract defines the endpoints, request fields, response fields, errors, and related version details that both sides must agree on.

Use it when changing the remote backend path or either side of the API, including multipart fields, JSON names, error responses, and OCR parameter strings.

It helps prevent one side of the application from sending data the other side does not understand. It also catches mismatched OCR settings and versions.
