Hub-and-Spoke-Discovery-and-Recovery

Hub-and-Spoke-Discovery-and-Recovery is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Roots-and-Fruit/skills. It costs 113 tokens per session (3,767 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A content-architecture audit playbook for finding the main topic pages and supporting pages on a disorganized website. A hub is a main topic page, and spokes are related pages that link to it.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for combining Search Console, Analytics, SEO keyword, and page-inventory data to find accidental hubs, valuable hidden pages, outdated content, and missing topic relationships.
Why use it?
It helps recover a useful topic structure when the site's existing pages do not match a planned content map.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00113 $0.03767
Opus 5 $0.00056 $0.01884
Sonnet 5 $0.00023 $0.00753
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00377

Security

Grade A, and why

Hub-and-Spoke-Discovery-and-Recovery scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Hub & Spoke Discovery & Recovery

Overview

Hub & Spoke is the content architecture — one hub owns a topic cluster; spokes answer sub-intents and link up. Cornerstone is the quality bar for those pages (depth, intent, linking, fan-out, citability). This playbook is the Discovery & Recovery path for sites where reality does not match intent.

It evolves the discovery-first audit pattern: triangulate first-party signals (GSC impressions + GA4 business value) with DataForSEO organic architecture and page inventory, then audit and plan recovery without assuming which pages are hubs today.

Not this playbook: Top-down health check when cornerstones are already known → Cornerstone Content Audit.

Packaging: Tier B playbook per write-a-skill — orchestrates children; triangulation rules in REFERENCE.md.

  2. Scopediscovery-only (Phases 1–2) or full audit (Phases 1–6)
  3. First-party data — at least one of:
    • GSC page×query export (CSV) or GSC MCP when available

  4. Conversion events — 1–3 GA4 key event names when GA4 is provided and analysis mode is discovery_plus_conversions

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
