SAP/ai-skills-library is a catalogue for discovering, filtering, and installing AI skills that support SAP digital assistants. SAP users and contributors can install listed skills with the skills CLI across compatible coding agents, while skill authors keep their implementations in their own public repositories and register them with the library. The catalogue contains five of the library's skills and its plugin.
Getting it into your agent
It runs from inside its repository, so the clone comes first — what it calls does not travel with the file alone.

Only the verdict fits; the numbers stay here.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00169 | $0.01721 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00068 | $0.00688 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00034 | $0.00344 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00017 | $0.00172 |
Grade A, and why
genai-hub-orchestration scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.
7. **If the user's request does not explicitly specify an approach, use `AskUserQuestion` to ask whether they prefer the REST API (curl) or the Python SDK before writing or running any code.** How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 170 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Rules
- Orchestration always requires a running orchestration deployment as a prerequisite — invoke
aicore-lifecycle-managementfirst if one does not exist. - The orchestration endpoint is
POST {DEPLOYMENT_URL}/v2/completion— not/v1/chat/completions. - Orchestration
scenario_idandexecutable_idare always"orchestration"— these are fixed. - The Harmonized API normalizes all models to OpenAI message format — the same client code works for GPT, Gemini, and Bedrock.
- If credentials are not configured, invoke
aicore-admin-resourcesfirst. generative-ai-hub-sdkis deprecated — always usesap-ai-sdk-gen. Import namespacegen_ai_hubis shared by both.- If the user's request does not explicitly specify an approach, use
AskUserQuestionto ask whether they prefer the REST API (curl) or the Python SDK before writing or running any code.
Deployment Prerequisite
Before using the orchestration service, a deployment must be running:
# Check for an existing orchestration deployment:
uv run skills/aicore-lifecycle-management/scripts/get_deployments.py --scenario orchestration
# If none exists, create a configuration first (reuse if "orchestration" config already exists):
uv run skills/aicore-lifecycle-management/scripts/get_configurations.py --scenario-id orchestration --json | jq '.[] | select(.name == "orchestration")'
uv run skills/aicore-lifecycle-management/scripts/create_configuration.py \
--name orchestration \
--scenario-id orchestration \
--executable-id orchestration
# Then deploy (takes up to 10 minutes):
uv run skills/aicore-lifecycle-management/scripts/create_deployment.py --configuration-id <config-id> --wait --timeout 600
Workflow
| Step | Action | Key Gate |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Verify orchestration deployment is RUNNING | get_deployments.py --scenario orchestration |
| 2 | If approach not stated: ask curl (REST API) or Python SDK via AskUserQuestion |
User preference |
| 3 | Choose pipeline features (templating only / + filtering / + grounding) | User intent |
| 4 | Select template from assets/ or build from scratch |
See asset map below |
| 5 | Run and verify output | uv run assets/<template>.py |
What ships with it
6 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

genai-hub-orchestration is a skill published in the GitHub repository SAP/ai-skills-library (97 stars, last pushed 5d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 169 tokens to every session and 1,721 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-23.
