SAP/ai-skills-library is a catalogue for discovering, filtering, and installing AI skills that support SAP digital assistants. SAP users and contributors can install listed skills with the skills CLI across compatible coding agents, while skill authors keep their implementations in their own public repositories and register them with the library. The catalogue contains five of the library's skills and its plugin.
Getting it into your agent
It runs from inside its repository, so the clone comes first — what it calls does not travel with the file alone.
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/SAP/ai-skills-librarynpx agentmods add skills/sap/ai-skills-library/genai-hub-tabular-orchestrationWrote this? Show the measurements
A badge with what this costs and how it scanned, read live from this page, so it follows the numbers instead of freezing them. Markdown for a README, HTML for a documentation site or a project page.

Only the verdict fits; the numbers stay here.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00253 | $0.05035 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00101 | $0.02014 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00051 | $0.01007 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00025 | $0.00504 |
Grade A, and why
genai-hub-tabular-orchestration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 497 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Rules
- Run all scripts from the skill root with
uv run scripts/<name>.py. - Never print or log credential values — the SDK reads from the environment.
- Always verify TCR prerequisites (data destination → tabular artifact → scenario configuration) are in place before sending a prediction request.
rowsandcolumnsare mutually exclusive in a prediction request — never include both.- For credential or auth errors, invoke
aicore-admin-resourcesfirst. - Mutating scripts require
--confirm; always pass it explicitly for delete operations. - Omit
--resource-groupwhen the user doesn't specify one; the SDK default is used. - Before issuing any
btp update services/instancecommand: (a) runbtp get services/instance --id <id>to fetch the full currentparametersblock, (b) show the user the complete current parameters and the exact diff — what is being added, changed, or removed — along with the full resulting payload that will be sent, and (c) require the user to explicitly confirm the shown parameters and the proposed change before proceeding. Do not issuebtp update services/instanceunder any circumstance until the user has confirmed in that same turn.
Concepts
The Context Registry (TCR) exposes structured data to AI Core scenarios through three layered resources:
Data Destination → Tabular Artifact → Scenario Configuration
(HDL connection) (file + schema) (named bundle of TAs)
- Data Destination: stores connection credentials for an HDL (HANA Data Lake) endpoint.
- Tabular Artifact (TA): points to a specific file on a data destination, with schema metadata
(CSN). Supports CSV, Parquet, and Delta formats. Schema can be provided inline (
DOCUMENT), referenced via a path (REFERENCE), or auto-derived (AUTO). - Scenario Configuration: a named, reusable list of tabular artifact names — consumed by AI Core scenarios at inference time.
All resources are scoped to a resource group (AI-Resource-Group header). Use the
aicore-admin-resources skill to verify credentials and get the active resource group first.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

genai-hub-tabular-orchestration is a skill published in the GitHub repository SAP/ai-skills-library (81 stars, last pushed 11d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 253 tokens to every session and 5,035 once invoked, about $0.0010 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-06.
