Dispatching Parallel Agents

Overview

You delegate tasks to specialized agents with isolated context. By precisely crafting their instructions and context, you ensure they stay focused and succeed at their task. Give each agent the context needed for its task; use isolated prompts for independent comparisons and shared history when continuity matters. Follow the host's supported context controls.

When you have multiple unrelated failures (different test files, different subsystems, different bugs), investigating them sequentially wastes time. Each investigation is independent and can happen in parallel.

Core principle: Delegate bounded independent work when the host exposes suitable tools and the task permits it. Without delegation support, complete the same investigations locally; do not install another runtime just to follow this workflow.
