sv-seo-mapping

sv-seo-mapping is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from seovendorco/sv-mcp-skills. It costs 55 tokens per session (601 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A site-wide planning tool that assigns search terms to the most relevant existing pages on a domain. It also finds missing content and keyword cannibalization, where several pages compete for the same search term.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to map many keywords to pages, find content gaps, and identify pages that need merging, separation, or clearer purposes.
Why use it?
It helps prevent a site from spreading one topic across the wrong pages or creating competing pages. The results support better site structure, internal links, and content planning.

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00055 $0.00601
Opus 5.5 $0.00022 $0.00240
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00120
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00060

Security

Grade A, and why

sv-seo-mapping scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

SV SEO Mapping: seogptmapping

MCP tool: seogptmapping · Mode: asynchronous API reference: SEO Mapping

When to use this

Use for site-wide structural planning: which existing page best fits each keyword, where content is missing, and where pages compete for the same keyword. For a single page or article use another tool.

Parameters

Parameter Required Notes
keyword yes The keywords to map, separated by commas or newlines.
url yes The target domain URL.
brand no Brand name.
language no 0 to 39. 0 = US English.
scantype no 0 = deep scan of all pages (default), 1 = quick scan of top pages.
wait no See Async behavior below.

Example call

{ "keyword": "white label seo, seo agency, seo reseller", "url": "https://example.com", "brand": "Acme SEO", "wait": true }

Result

A finished result maps keywords to content types and pages, and includes a list of detected keyword cannibalization. The result is keyed by internal numeric indices rather than fixed field names, so parse it defensively.

Chaining

Pairs well with sv-topical-authority: turn the topic cluster into an actual page and URL map.

Gotchas

  • Cannibalization results are the part most worth surfacing to a person. Put them first.
  • A deep scan of a large domain takes longer. Use scantype: 1 for a quick first pass.

Async behavior

This tool returns a task_id immediately by default. To get the map either:

  • call with wait: true. It waits up to 45 seconds. If the task is still running you get status: still_running and the task_id, or
  • call get_task_status with the task_id, then get_task_result once it has finished.

Every call to seogptmapping starts a new, separately charged task. Never call it again to check progress or to retry a slow task. Use get_task_status and get_task_result instead, which are free. Pass tool: "seogptmapping" to them if the task was created in a different session.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sv-seo-mapping is a skill published in the GitHub repository seovendorco/sv-mcp-skills (2 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 55 tokens to every session and 601 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-16.
