Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00120 | $0.02626 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00048 | $0.01050 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00024 | $0.00525 |

Grade A, and why
pair-intelligence scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 186 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Pair intelligence
Ask a second model (Codex/GPT or Gemini) through its CLI, then judge its answer against the source. The other model returns claims, not verdicts. The value is an independent read plus your adjudication; relaying an answer unchecked launders a guess into an authority.
The user's instructions take precedence over this skill.
When it's worth it
Worth it: a plan or change about to land (especially money, auth, migrations, concurrency, permissions, deletion), a contested decision, a diagnosis you cannot settle, ideas that need a different lineage, a screenshot or live page that needs a second pair of eyes.
Also worth it: your own recommendation, before you present it to the user.
Not worth it: work still changing, anything the tests already settle, a question
you can answer by reading the code yourself, and mechanical commits (lint, a
re-stamp, an unused import): read those diffs yourself. A small config or docs
change gets the short template at medium effort and one round, not the full
review (see references/review.md).
Pick the mode
| Mode | Use for | Session | Read first |
|---|---|---|---|
review |
a plan, a diff, or code against its plan, before it lands | fresh reviewer every round | references/review.md |
consult |
choosing between options, a diagnosis, checking a claim or your own recommendation, critiquing a non-code document | fresh; one resumed follow-up to dispute a claim | references/consult.md |
ideate |
brainstorming, naming, exploring a design space | one named session, at most 3 rounds | references/ideate.md |
research |
web search and reading docs, with sources | fresh, empty scratch directory | references/research.md |
browse |
opening, clicking and screenshotting real pages | fresh, allow-listed domains only | references/research.md |
Read the mode's file before you write the prompt. Images work in any mode: add
--image (how to ask about one: references/research.md).

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

pair-intelligence is a skill published in the GitHub repository shaharsha/claude-skills (6 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 120 tokens to every session and 2,626 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-02.
