tradingcalc

tradingcalc is a skill for Claude Code from SKalinin909/tradingcalc-mcp. It costs 107 tokens per session (1,286 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A calculator for trading and financial-market questions, using fixed mathematical formulas rather than estimates. It covers options, foreign exchange, risk measures, crypto futures, token checks, and prediction markets.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for Black–Scholes option prices and Greeks, option payoffs and breakeven points, implied volatility, forex position sizing and margin, value at risk, Sharpe ratios, and crypto-futures profit or liquidation calculations.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of arithmetic mistakes when calculating values such as option prices, position sizes, liquidation prices, or Sharpe ratios. The same inputs produce the same result.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00107 $0.01286
Opus 5.5 $0.00043 $0.00514
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00021 $0.00257
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00129

Security

Grade A, and why

tradingcalc scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 13d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

TradingCalc: deterministic trading math

What this skill does

Gives you exact answers to trading math questions instead of a language-model estimate. The TradingCalc MCP server exposes 75 deterministic tools across options, forex, risk statistics, crypto futures, on-chain token checks and prediction markets. The same inputs always return the same outputs, and the 12 core calculators are checked against canonical test vectors on a public page (https://tradingcalc.io/verify).

Do not work out a position size, a liquidation price, an option value or a Sharpe ratio yourself and present it as authoritative. A small arithmetic slip here is real financial risk for whoever acts on it. Call the tool.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

tradingcalc is a skill published in the GitHub repository SKalinin909/tradingcalc-mcp (2 stars, last pushed 14d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 107 tokens to every session and 1,286 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-01.
