Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00130 | $0.02618 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00065 | $0.01309 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00026 | $0.00524 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00013 | $0.00262 |
Grade A, and why
israeli-phone-formatter scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
This is a copy
98% identical to israeli-phone-formatter — 17 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 153 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Israeli Phone Formatter
Instructions
Step 1: Identify Phone Number Type
| Type | Prefixes | Total Digits | Example (local) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mobile | 050, 051, 052, 053, 054, 055, 058 | 10 | 052-1234567 |
| Mobile (Palestinian, flag) | 056 (Ooredoo Palestine, formerly Wataniya), 059 (Jawwal) | 10 | 059-1234567 |
| Landline | 02-04, 08-09 | 9 | 02-6251111 |
| Non-geographic / VoIP | 071, 072, 073, 074, 076, 077, 078, 079 | 10 | 077-1234567 |
| Toll-free | 1-800 | 10 | 1-800-123456 |
| Premium | 1-700 | 10 | 1-700-123456 |
| Star service | *XXXX | 5-7 | *2421 |
For the full prefix allocation table per carrier, consult references/prefix-allocation.md.
Step 2: Validate the Number
Run python scripts/validate_phone.py --number {input} to validate format and identify type.
If validating manually, apply these rules:
- Strip all whitespace, hyphens, parentheses, and dots
- Convert international prefix:
+972or972becomes leading0 - Match against known prefix patterns
- Verify digit count (mobile / non-geographic = 10, landline = 9)
Common validation errors:
- Wrong digit count: Mobile numbers must be exactly 10 digits with the
0prefix - Palestinian carriers slipping through: 056 (Ooredoo Palestine, formerly Wataniya) and 059 (Jawwal) match the Israeli mobile shape but are Palestinian territories carriers. Flag them when business logic requires an Israeli SIM.
- 071, 078, or 079 rejected as invalid: Older regex patterns like
0(7[2-7])reject 071 and 078 (multiple VoIP providers) and 079 (Widely, 019 Mobile, Annatel), all of which are allocated non-geographic prefixes. Use07[1-9]instead (the class runs 071-079). - Missing leading zero: Local numbers always start with
0(except toll-free and star)
Step 3: Format or Convert
Local to international (strict E.164 for WhatsApp, Twilio, libphonenumber):
- Remove leading
0 - Prepend
+972 - Output digits only, no separators
- Example:
052-1234567becomes+972521234567

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

israeli-phone-formatter is a skill published in the GitHub repository skills-il/developer-tools (10 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 130 tokens to every session and 2,618 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. It is 98% identical to israeli-phone-formatter, differing in 17 lines, and is treated as a copy.
