rb:triage

rb:triage is a skill for Claude Code from slbug/claude-ruby-grape-rails. It costs 48 tokens per session (5,234 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to sorting code-review findings into fixes to make now, items to skip, and work to postpone.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to group review findings, set priorities, and prepare follow-up work after a code review.
Why use it?
It helps teams focus first on security, data safety, and other serious problems instead of treating every comment as equally urgent.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00048 $0.05234
Opus 5.5 $0.00019 $0.02094
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00010 $0.01047
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00523

Security

Grade A, and why

rb:triage scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Triage Review Findings

Batch-select findings from the review before creating follow-up work.

Iron Laws

  1. Auto-include all Iron Law violations - these are never optional
  2. Separate safety fixes from style preferences - prioritize data integrity
  3. Group related findings - fix together what belongs together
  4. Defer performance optimizations without profiling data
  5. Use structured multi-select, not freeform chat prompts — when asking the user which findings to keep, use a checkbox-style selection UI

Severity Classification

Map review buckets (Blocker | Warning | Suggestion) to triage priorities. Within each bucket, order security findings only by evidence_mode (defined in ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/security/SKILL.md § "Evidence Mode" and ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/agents/security-analyzer.md § "Evidence Mode (mandatory)"):

  1. runtime-confirmed — act first
  2. configuration-risk
  3. static-signal
  4. requires-human-validation — surface to user for decision

Non-security findings carry no evidence_mode. Retain agent-emitted order within the bucket.

Blocker → Always Include

  • Iron Law violations: transaction safety, after_commit discipline, JSON-safe args
  • Security issues: SQL injection, XSS, mass assignment, hardcoded secrets
  • Data integrity: missing constraints, race conditions, incorrect null handling
  • N+1 queries: database performance killers
  • Transaction safety: operations outside transactions that should be inside

Warning → Recommend Include

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
