Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
seo-intelligence scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

SEO Intelligence
Turn "why isn't this ranking?" into a specific, fixed answer. The
technical-seo MCP server does the measuring; this skill decides what to run,
how to read the results without over-reacting, and how to fix findings in the
user's own code.
1. Make sure the tools are available
Look for tools named seo_full_audit, crawl_audit, and check_* (they may
be prefixed with the server name, e.g. mcp__technical-seo__seo_full_audit).
- Present — continue to step 2.
- Missing — the MCP server is not installed. Show the user the snippet for
their agent from references/install.md, ask them to
add it and restart the agent, then stop. Do not try to imitate the checks
with ad-hoc
curlor browser fetches: the report would be incomplete and the severities inconsistent with later re-audits.
What this skill touches (disclosure)
- The site being audited — ordinary GET/HEAD requests, identified by the
user agent
seo-mcp/<version>. A crawl waits 500 ms between pages by default. - registry.npmjs.org — once, when the agent first launches
npx [email protected], and once for[email protected]the first timerun_lighthouseis used. - Local disk — only when asked:
output: "html"writes a report file, andcompare_to_baseline: truesaves a baseline in the OS state directory.
Nothing else. No API keys, accounts, telemetry, or third-party SEO services.
2. Pick the tool for the question
| The user wants… | Run |
|---|---|
| "Audit this page" / "why isn't it ranking?" | seo_full_audit |
| The whole site, template-level problems, broken links | crawl_audit (max_pages 25 by default, up to 100) |
| Speed, Core Web Vitals, "is my site slow?" | run_lighthouse (form_factor: "mobile" first — Google indexes mobile-first) |
| "Is this page about X?" / content optimisation | check_keyword_placement with keywords: [...] |
| Visibility in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini | check_ai_crawlers, then check_structured_data |
| Multi-country or multi-language site | check_hreflang with verify_return_links: true |
| Just one thing (sitemap, robots, canonical, HTTPS…) | the matching check_* tool |
| URL slugs for new pages, before they exist | check_url_structure (offline, no requests) |
| A report to send to a client or manager | seo_full_audit or crawl_audit with output: "html" |
| "Did my fixes work?" / regression check | re-run with compare_to_baseline: true |
What ships with it
6 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

seo-intelligence is a skill published in the GitHub repository sourav2024/seo-mcp (1 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 154 tokens to every session and 2,193 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-18.
