What is add-translation?

A workflow for adding and checking translated text in an application. It uses a main English key file, a synchronized English catalogue, and a manually maintained German catalogue.

Adding log messages and interface text, updating existing translations, synchronizing English files, adding German translations, and checking the catalogues.

It prevents translation keys from being missing, out of sync, or used incorrectly in code.

IMPORTANT: aiohomematic/strings.json is the primary source for all translation keys. The file translations/en.json is automatically synchronized from strings.json.

Step 1: Use Translation in Code
