ty-electrical-machine-power-modeling

ty-electrical-machine-power-modeling is a skill for Codex from Suzhou-Tongyuan/sysplorer-mcp-server. It costs 110 tokens per session (2,312 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A modeling workflow for Sysplorer electrical, motor-drive, and power-system models. It covers systems such as motors, inverters, generators, transformers, power lines, and distribution networks using specified electrical libraries.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build, repair, check, translate, simulate, and inspect electrical machines, motor drives, power electronics, transmission systems, feeders, and related components.
Why use it?
It provides a defined process for building or fixing these models and checking them after edits. It also keeps library choices and simulation results subject to validation rather than assumption.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00110 $0.02312
Opus 5.5 $0.00044 $0.00925
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00022 $0.00462
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00231

Security

Grade A, and why

ty-electrical-machine-power-modeling scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 19d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 3 executable files (scripts/compare_series.py, scripts/init_component_package.py, scripts/inventory_library.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

TY Electrical Machine Power Modeling

Core Rules

  • Instantiate only TYMotor, TYElectricPower, TYElectrical, and minimal Modelica 4.0.0.TY.1 glue in final models.
  • Never instantiate NPSLibrary or unpublished local commercial packages in final deliverables.
  • Prefer official TY examples and component documentation before drafting topology.
  • Deliver standalone user cases as one .mo file unless the user explicitly asks for a package.
  • After every disk edit, force reload the edited .mo, then run check -> translate -> simulate -> inspect.
  • Inspect key result variables immediately after the simulation that produced them.
  • If no Simulink reference data exists, report Sysplorer structure validation passed and Simulink parity pending reference data.

Library Priority

  1. Use TYMotor for motor systems, PMSM drives, motor controllers, inverters, torque/speed sources, and motor-side sensors.
  2. Use TYElectricPower for generators, transformers, buses, lines, breakers, power sensors, static loads, distribution feeders, transmission lines, and grounding in power-system topologies.
  3. Use TYElectrical for basic electrical and foundational power-electronics examples, including average-value three-phase inverter demos.
  4. Use Modelica 4.0.0.TY.1 only for glue such as Blocks.Sources, BooleanExpression, Electrical.MultiPhase.Basic.Star, Electrical.Analog.Basic.Ground, and unit types when no practical TY block covers that role.

Validation Gate

For every model:

  1. Load required libraries with load_library.
  2. Reload the edited file with reload_mo_path.
  3. Run check_model.
  4. Run translate_model.
  5. Run simulate_model with at least one requested result variable.
  6. Read representative values with result_manager.
  7. Plot requested variables with plot_manager when waveform output is requested.
  8. Record solver, step size or variable-step setting, stop time, key variables, and any unresolved compatibility findings.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ty-electrical-machine-power-modeling is a skill published in the GitHub repository Suzhou-Tongyuan/sysplorer-mcp-server (10 stars, last pushed 20d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 110 tokens to every session and 2,312 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-13.
