ty-energy-modeling

ty-energy-modeling is a skill for Codex from Suzhou-Tongyuan/sysplorer-mcp-server. It costs 189 tokens per session (1,284 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for Sysplorer energy models covering renewable generation, batteries, and integrated energy systems. It provides guidance for selected TY commercial energy libraries and their validation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build, repair, translate, simulate, and review photovoltaic, wind, battery, and integrated-energy models when the relevant library is selected.
Why use it?
It helps apply the right domain checks without assuming that a scenario word alone selects a commercial library. It also separates a successful simulation from verified physical results.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00189 $0.01284
Opus 5.5 $0.00076 $0.00514
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00038 $0.00257
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00128

Security

Grade A, and why

ty-energy-modeling scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 19d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

TY Energy Modeling

Use this only as a thin TY energy-domain add-on to ty-sysplorer-modeling-rules. The parent skill owns routing, gate discipline, layout timing, repair-loop control, and delivery evidence.

Parent Contract and MCP 0.4

Use ../ty-sysplorer-modeling-rules/references/shared-standards.md as the authority for MCP classification, session reuse, failure parsing, and retry control; use ../ty-sysplorer-modeling-rules/workflows/seven-gates-validation.md for validation depth, Gate 6, and completion status. Offline/source-only tasks make no session calls. Existing concrete failures are led by the independent debugging entry defined by the parent; this domain skill supplies targeted evidence without restarting a build. Failures during a new build remain in the original task.

Stop at the requested terminal stage. Result variables, KPI, plots, animation, and formal reports are required only when requested or necessary for the agreed acceptance criterion; otherwise mark them not_required. Do not infer proxy metrics merely to fill a checklist. A successful simulation and verified physical results are separate claims.

MCP 0.4 uses model_inspect for classes/components/ports/text queries, compare_model for comparisons, and model_manager for lifecycle operations. call_code accepts only run_sysplorer_api or its run_script alias with a required object payload and explicit ModelingPy import. Check/translate/simulate may automatically write layout back to a loaded user file, even without reload_mo_path; they are not read-only review tools. Follow the parent authorization boundary and record any actual graphical change under Gate 6.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ty-energy-modeling is a skill published in the GitHub repository Suzhou-Tongyuan/sysplorer-mcp-server (10 stars, last pushed 20d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 189 tokens to every session and 1,284 once invoked, about $0.0008 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-13.
