Interview Questions
Ask these one at a time — do NOT front-load all questions:
- What's your newsletter name and value proposition? (If they've run the Newsletter Value Prop skill, use that output here)
- Who is your target audience? (Specific — role, situation, struggle)
- What's the #1 outcome or transformation a new subscriber will get?
- What are 3–5 specific things they'll learn, get, or walk away with?
- How often do you send and what format? (e.g., "Every Tuesday — one actionable framework")
- Do you have any social proof? (Subscriber count, open rates, testimonials, notable brands/names)
- What's the biggest objection someone might have to subscribing?
The 4-Element Landing Page Framework
Element 1: Audience Callout (Pre-Headline)
One line that calls out exactly who this is for.
Formula: "For [specific audience] who want [outcome] without [pain point]" Or: A bold statement that makes the right person think "that's me"
Example: "For homeschooling parents who refuse to choose between their kids and their business."
Element 2: Headline
The most important line on the page. Leads with transformation, not topic.
Rules:
- Clarity beats cleverness every time
- Lead with the outcome, not the mechanism
- Specific > vague (include numbers where possible)
- 1–2 lines max
