- Best content link — Where can new readers get instant value? (Best-of page, starter guide, etc.)
- Low-ticket product (optional) — For a welcome offer
The 6-Step Formula
Step 1: Reinforce Their Decision to Subscribe
Give a warm welcome and make them feel like they made a smart choice. Combine a friendly greeting with social proof.
Example: "Hey, welcome to [Newsletter]! And congrats — you just joined a select group of [number]+ savvy [audience description] learning [main benefit] every [frequency]."
Don't just say "thanks for subscribing." Reinforce that they joined something valuable.
