iOS Simulator (xcrun simctl)
Command-line control of the iOS/iPadOS/watchOS/tvOS Simulator for scripting,
CI, and local fixtures. Everything routes through simctl; the Simulator.app GUI

Device identity & booted
Every device has a UDID. Most subcommands take a device specifier: a UDID, a
device name, or the literal booted (the single currently-booted device — errors
if zero or more than one is booted).
