opensession: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/pstack-suite/skills/no-comments/SKILL.md

no-comments is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from tellahq/opensession. It costs 34 tokens per session (242 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A review skill for finding comments that merely narrate code, explain stale behavior, or suppress warnings that clearer code could replace.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it during diff reviews or before commits to remove unnecessary comments, retain justified ones, and run relevant formatting, lint, type, or test checks.
Why use it?
It helps keep comments useful while moving explanations into better names, types, functions, or ownership where appropriate.

Skill for Claude CodeCodex

Written for Claude Code: disable-model-invocation in frontmatter. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents).

This is tellahq/opensession's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on opensession itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything opensession configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00034 $0.00242
Opus 5 $0.00017 $0.00121
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00048
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00024

Security

Grade A, and why

no-comments scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Use this on a scoped diff or named files. It is a review pass, not a blanket ban on comments.

  1. Read ../../../pstack/agents/comment-sicko.md.
  2. Discover the policy-gated Open Session child-session tools and spawn one ask-mode child with that brief plus the exact scope. If child sessions are unavailable, perform the same read-only review directly and say delegation was unavailable.
  3. Check every reported candidate against the surrounding code. Accept only findings supported by the file.
  4. Delete narration and stale explanations. Replace comments about surprising internal structure with clearer names, types, functions, or ownership where that reshape stays in scope.
  5. Keep legal headers, public contracts, proven external constraints, useful issue links, and justified formatter or lint suppressions.
  6. Run the relevant formatter, lint, type, or test check after edits.

Report deleted comments, retained comments with reasons, structural replacements, and verification.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
