A checklist and report structure for examining a website's technical search-engine setup. It covers whether pages can be crawled and indexed, how quickly they load, whether they work on phones, and how pages link to one another.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assess robots.txt, XML sitemaps, index coverage, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, structured data, and internal links.
Why use it?
It helps find and prioritize technical issues that may prevent important pages from appearing or performing well in search results.

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00040 $0.01998
Opus 5 $0.00020 $0.00999
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00400
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00200

Security

Grade A, and why

technical-seo-audit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/cwv-snapshot.sh), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Technical SEO Audit

Before you start

Gather the following from the user. If anything is missing, ask before proceeding:

  1. What is the site URL? (Production domain, canonical www vs. non-www)
  2. What platform/framework? (Next.js, WordPress, Shopify, custom — determines common issues)
  3. What are the business-critical pages? (Homepage, product pages, pricing, docs)
  4. Do you have Google Search Console access? (Crawl stats, index coverage, performance data)
  5. Do you have a crawl tool? (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs Site Audit, or similar)
  6. Current organic traffic trend? (Growing, flat, declining — over what timeframe)
  7. Known issues? (Recent migration, traffic drop, indexation problems, CWV failures)

1. Crawlability Assessment

Verify that search engines can discover and access all important pages.

| Check | Status | Finding | Priority |
|--------------------------|--------|------------------------------------------|----------|
| robots.txt | [P/F] | [What is blocked, what should be] | [H/M/L] |
| XML sitemap | [P/F] | [URL, page count, last modified dates] | [H/M/L] |
| Crawl budget waste | [P/F] | [Faceted URLs, parameters, duplicates] | [H/M/L] |
| Orphan pages | [P/F] | [Pages in sitemap but no internal links] | [H/M/L] |
| Redirect chains | [P/F] | [Chains > 2 hops, count affected URLs] | [H/M/L] |
| Server errors (5xx) | [P/F] | [Count and affected URL patterns] | [H/M/L] |
| Soft 404s | [P/F] | [Pages returning 200 but showing errors] | [H/M/L] |

For JS-rendered sites, verify Googlebot sees the same content as a browser using URL Inspection or site: search.

2. Indexation Analysis

Check what Google has indexed versus what you want indexed.

| Check | Status | Finding | Priority |
|---------------------------|--------|-----------------------------------------|----------|
| Index coverage (GSC) | [P/F] | [Indexed vs. submitted pages] | [H/M/L] |
| Accidental noindex | [P/F] | [Important pages blocked from index] | [H/M/L] |
| Canonical tags | [P/F] | [Self-referencing, cross-domain, errors]| [H/M/L] |
| Duplicate content | [P/F] | [URL variations, parameterized pages] | [H/M/L] |
| Thin content pages | [P/F] | [Pages with < 200 words, no value] | [H/M/L] |

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
