Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.00096 | $0.02105 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00048 | $0.01052 |

Grade A, and why
adb-cli scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 218 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
ADB Agent CLI
adb-agent lets you drive a connected Android device or emulator from a normal
shell. It is the terminal half of
Android-Debug-Bridge-MCP
— the MCP server drives the same engine through tool calls instead.
Use the CLI when the flow is a sequence of steps you want to chain in one call, when artifacts should land on disk, or when the same flow has to run in a script or CI job. Use the MCP tools when you want screenshots inline in the conversation.
If adb-agent is not on the PATH, npx -p android-debug-bridge-mcp adb-agent
works anywhere, and node dist/cli/index.js works inside a built checkout.
Start with doctor
adb-agent doctor
Three checks: adb on the PATH, a device in the device state, and uiautomator
able to dump the current screen. Every other command depends on all three, so
fix what it reports before going further — a red doctor means the failures you
see later will be misleading.
The two rules that matter
1. Read the screen before you act. Never tap coordinates you guessed. Dump the tree, find the element, then act on it:
adb-agent ui find "Sign in" --json
adb-agent ui tap "Sign in"
ui tap re-reads the screen, ranks matches against text, content-description
and resource-id, and taps the best one. It survives layout and resolution
changes in a way fixed coordinates do not.
2. Coordinates are fractions by default. input tap 0.5 0.7 taps the middle
of the lower half on any screen size. Values above 1 are pixels. Force either
reading with --norm or --px.
Command surface
Every command accepts --json, -d/--device <serial> and -q/--quiet. Run
adb-agent <group> --help for the exact usage of a group.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

adb-cli is a skill published in the GitHub repository TiagoDanin/Android-Debug-Bridge-MCP (32 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 96 tokens to every session and 2,105 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
