Use it to check auto-tagging, conversion tracking, remarketing tags, enabled conversion actions, attribution settings, and linked-account configuration.
Why use it?

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00033 $0.00714
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.00357
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00143
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00071

Security

Grade A, and why

skill-009-account-defaults-audit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Skill 009: Account-Level Default Settings Audit

Purpose

Review account-level settings including auto-tagging, conversion tracking defaults, auto-applied recommendations opt-ins, and linked accounts. Auto-applied recommendations can silently change bid strategies, add broad match keywords, or increase budgets without consent.

Data Requirements

Data Source: Custom GAQL Required

Standard account summary may lack complete settings. Custom GAQL provides comprehensive account configuration.

GAQL Query (account settings):

SELECT
  customer.id,
  customer.descriptive_name,
  customer.auto_tagging_enabled,
  customer.conversion_tracking_setting.conversion_tracking_id,
  customer.conversion_tracking_setting.conversion_tracking_status,
  customer.remarketing_setting.google_global_site_tag
FROM customer

GAQL Query (conversion actions):

SELECT
  conversion_action.id,
  conversion_action.name,
  conversion_action.type,
  conversion_action.status,
  conversion_action.primary_for_goal,
  conversion_action.counting_type,
  conversion_action.attribution_model_settings.attribution_model
FROM conversion_action
WHERE conversion_action.status = 'ENABLED'

Run via /google-ads:get-custom with query names account_settings and conversion_actions.

Note: Auto-applied recommendations settings require Google Ads UI review or Recommendations API (not available via standard GAQL).

Analysis Steps

  1. Check auto-tagging: Verify enabled (required for Google Analytics integration)
  2. Review conversion tracking: Check status, verify conversion actions configured, review attribution models
  3. Check auto-applied recommendations: Flag dangerous auto-applies (add broad match, increase budgets, change bidding)
  4. Review linked accounts: GA4, Merchant Center, YouTube, Search Console
  5. Audit conversion actions: Check primary actions, counting methods, attribution models

Thresholds

Condition Severity
Auto-tagging disabled Critical
No conversion tracking Critical
Auto-apply "Add broad match" enabled Critical
Auto-apply "Raise budgets" enabled Critical
GA4 not linked Warning
Non-primary actions included in optimization Warning

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
