skill-070-conversion-tracking-completeness

skill-070-conversion-tracking-completeness is a skill for Claude Code from TrueClicks/claude-plugins. It costs 26 tokens per session (561 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A Google Ads check that reviews whether important business actions, such as purchases or leads, are recorded as conversions. A conversion is a completed action that an advertiser wants to measure.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for listing active conversion actions, checking their settings, and finding valuable actions that may not be included in campaign conversion reporting.
Why use it?
Missing conversion records hide useful results, distort return-on-ad-spend calculations, and give automated bidding less information for optimisation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00026 $0.00561
Opus 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00224
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00112
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00056

Security

Grade A, and why

skill-070-conversion-tracking-completeness scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 21d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Skill 070: Conversion Tracking Completeness

Purpose

Verify that all valuable business actions are being tracked as conversions in Google Ads. Incomplete tracking leads to missing optimization signals, inaccurate ROAS calculations, and suboptimal Smart Bidding performance.

Data Requirements

Data Source: Standard

Standard Data:

  • data/account/conversion_actions.md - Conversion action settings and configuration
  • data/account/account_summary.md - Account-level conversion tracking status
  • data/performance/campaigns/*/campaign_metrics_30_days.md - Conversion data by campaign

Reference GAQL:

SELECT
  conversion_action.id,
  conversion_action.name,
  conversion_action.type,
  conversion_action.category,
  conversion_action.status,
  conversion_action.include_in_conversions_metric,
  conversion_action.counting_type,
  conversion_action.attribution_model_settings.attribution_model
FROM conversion_action
WHERE conversion_action.status = 'ENABLED'

Use /google-ads:get-custom to get conversion volume per action.

Analysis Steps

  1. Inventory conversion actions: List all active conversion actions with type and category.
  2. Categorize by type: Purchases, leads, calls, app installs, engagement.
  3. Identify gaps: Compare tracked actions to expected business value actions.
  4. Check configuration: Verify counting type, attribution model, primary vs secondary.

Thresholds

Condition Severity
Only 1 conversion action configured Critical
No phone call tracking for local business Critical
Primary conversion has no conversions in 30d Critical
Missing micro-conversions (add to cart, form start) Warning
No offline conversion import for B2B Warning
Conversion action active but never recorded Warning

Output

Short (default):

## Conversion Tracking Completeness Audit

**Account:** [Name] | **Conversion Actions:** [X] | **Issues:** [Y]

### Conversion Action Inventory
| Action | Type | Primary | Last 30d |
|--------|------|---------|----------|
| [Name] | [Type] | [Yes/No] | [Count] |

2. [Secondary action]

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
