closing-checklist

closing-checklist is a skill for Claude Code from uk-agents/uk-legal-plugins. It costs 103 tokens per session (3,027 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A checklist for completing a company transaction, such as a merger or acquisition. It tracks open tasks, the order they depend on, and what is blocking completion.

In plain words
What is it for?
Maintaining closing tasks, adding issues found during document review, tracking progress, and identifying regulatory or consent steps that could delay completion.
Why use it?
It helps the deal team see what remains unfinished and prevents important closing tasks from being overlooked.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00103 $0.03027
Opus 5 $0.00051 $0.01514
Sonnet 5 $0.00021 $0.00605
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00303

Security

Grade A, and why

closing-checklist scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

/closing-checklist

  1. Read ~/.claude/plugins/config/uk-legal-plugins/corporate-legal-uk/deals/[code]/closing-checklist.yaml and use the modes below.
  2. If status update provided: Mode 3 (update item).
  3. Otherwise Mode 4: blocking items, critical path, days to completion.

Matter context

Matter context. Check ## Matter workspaces in the practice-level CLAUDE.md. If Enabled is (the default for in-house users), skip the rest of this paragraph — skills use practice-level context and the matter machinery is invisible. If enabled and there is no active matter, ask: "Which matter is this for? Run /corporate-legal-uk:matter-workspace switch <slug> or say practice-level." Load the active matter's matter.md for matter-specific context and overrides. Write outputs to the matter folder at ~/.claude/plugins/config/uk-legal-plugins/corporate-legal-uk/matters/<matter-slug>/. Never read another matter's files unless Cross-matter context is on.

Purpose

Deals complete when the checklist is done. Everything on it, done. Nothing missing. This skill maintains the list, ingests new items as they surface from diligence, and tells the team what's blocking completion ("closing" in UK practice terminology is often called "completion").

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
