video-add-motion-graphics

video-add-motion-graphics is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from WhiteTowerAI/cut-as-code. It costs 31 tokens per session (574 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for adding selected, transcript-timed motion effects to a video from a small bundled recipe set. In this package, it can search, display, materialize, and prepare plans for local recipes, but cannot normally validate, register, or render them.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to find supported effects, inspect their recipes, create local recipe materializations, and draft a motion-graphics plan.
Why use it?
It makes the package limits clear and prevents unsupported rendering work when the required content and evidence are missing.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00031 $0.00574
Opus 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00230
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00115
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00057

Measured 9d ago against content hash 7e17e7e28d12, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

video-add-motion-graphics scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Video Add Motion Graphics - Packaged Core

This package ships exactly 10 selectable AnimXYZ core recipes: xyz-fade-big, xyz-fade-down, xyz-fade-left, xyz-fade-right, xyz-fade-small, xyz-fade-up, xyz-flip-left, xyz-flip-up, xyz-rise-big, and xyz-rotate. The archive contains exactly 20 AnimXYZ recipe manifests because each selectable recipe also retains its bound provenance copy under hyperframes/source/. Use only those preconverted local recipes. Without the expanded HyperFrames content pack, supported operation is limited to local search, show, materialize, and draft plan preparation. Non-skipped validate/register/render is unavailable because it requires rendered frames, HyperFrames check evidence, snapshots, complete file bindings, and an approved composited visual review. An all-skipped no-op may register only when the bundled validator accepts it. The editor itself does not invoke this skill or render video.

The full repository also supports optional Codrops and sticker libraries. They are intentionally omitted from this compact editor package. Treat a request for Codrops, canvas-confetti, mo.js, Line MD, Meteocons, tsParticles, or another absent family as missing_content_pack: motion-graphics-expanded-library; do not silently return an empty catalog, search the web, or substitute another effect.

HyperFrames authoring and rendering skills are external prerequisites for any non-skipped cue. When they are unavailable, stop after materialization and draft preparation and report missing_content_pack: hyperframes-toolchain.

Use video-understand before selecting effects. Preserve the full skill's safety contract: captions, content cards, and every protected face/head silhouette are hard exclusion zones throughout the complete animation path; skip any cue that cannot be placed safely.

Search and inspect the shipped core deterministically:

node skills/video-add-motion-graphics/scripts/recipe_library.mjs search `
--query "fade rise rotate" --limit 8 --json
node skills/video-add-motion-graphics/scripts/recipe_library.mjs show xyz-fade-up --json

For a selected core recipe, record manifest evidence and Agent rationale, materialize it with recipe_library.mjs materialize, and prepare a draft cue. Zero cues is valid. Do not adapt, bind, validate/register a non-skipped plan, or claim rendered output until the HyperFrames content pack is present and its checks, frame rendering, bindings, and full composited visual review actually run.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
