wp-header-run

wp-header-run is a skill for Claude Code from yojahny55/claude-wp-builder. It costs 133 tokens per session (468 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A detailed workflow step for creating a WordPress site header, including the template, navigation helper, language switcher, and CSS routing. A navigation walker is code that customises how a WordPress menu is rendered.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when /wp-header needs to build or update header markup, menu behaviour, language switching, class names, and responsive styling.
Why use it?
It keeps the header implementation rules and agent file ownership separate from the shorter command, reducing ambiguity about where templates and styles should be changed.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00133 $0.00468
Opus 5.5 $0.00053 $0.00187
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00027 $0.00094
Haiku 4.5 $0.00013 $0.00047

Measured 17d ago against content hash e14a9eedba44, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

wp-header-run scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 17d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/wp-header step detail

commands/wp-header.md owns the order of the run. Step 4 needs far more than a few paragraphs, so it keeps its heading there and sends the run to one file here per part. The command reads each file at that step, not before.

These files are the step itself, not background reading. When the command says to read one, read it whole and follow it in order.

References, by step

Step File Covers
4 references/template-dispatch.md The wp-template prompt: header.php, inc/nav-walker.php, the menu location helper, the language switcher per i18n strategy, the 24x24 target size, class naming per Template:
4 references/css-routing.md Routing the CSS agent by Template:, the wp-tailwind author-mode prompt that replaces Step 5, the file ownership rule, the editing rule the dispatch check relies on

Changing a step

Edit the reference file, not the command, unless the step order or the step's entry condition changes. A check that guards a step's wording reads the command with these files expanded in place (tests/checks/lib/expand-command.sh); tests/checks/wp-header-run.sh asserts that every file here is named both in this table and at its step in commands/wp-header.md.

Files

What ships with it

2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
