Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00042 | $0.00516 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00021 | $0.00258 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00008 | $0.00103 |

Grade A, and why
factcheck scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 52 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
factcheck — external claim audit
This is a source audit for external claims. Confirmed personal career evidence remains governed by the Vault approval and provenance contracts rather than being reinterpreted here.
Goal
Determine whether each material external claim is supported by an accessible, dated source and whether an apparently obvious or implausible claim needs the opposite check. Leave uncertainty visible when a source cannot be reached.
Workflow
- Enumerate claims presented as facts about the external world.
- Locate the source, observation date, confidence, and provenance already attached to each claim.
- Verify the claim against the source and check the reverse possibility when the claim is novel, implausible, or based only on intuition.
- Report each claim as confirmed, contradicted, stale, low-confidence, or unknown.
- Return the audit as a report; the Host or user decides whether to create a corrected artifact.
Rules
- Do not invent sources, dates, quotations, market numbers, company culture, or legal conclusions.
- Do not turn a missing source into a pass or a score.
- Do not modify
events.jsonl,career-state.toml,data/pipeline.yml, or a canonical profile. - A blocked external source is
Unknown, not evidence from memory. - This Skill is read-only and never invokes another Skill.
Gate D terminal semantics
- All material claims are acceptable and traceable → report
completed. - A material contradiction → report
blocked; the incorrect artifact must not flow toverify. - A required claim cannot be verified safely → report
needs_approvalwhen the user must decide how to proceed, orblockedwhen no safe continuation exists. - A stale, low-confidence, or unknown claim is included in the summary so the next step receives the
exact uncertainty rather than treating
completedas a clean fact pass.
Verification
Every verdict must name its source or explicitly say that verification was unavailable. Report
blocked or failed when a required claim cannot be safely checked; do not report an empty pass.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

factcheck is a skill published in the GitHub repository younnieCutler/japan-career-agent (6 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 42 tokens to every session and 516 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
