Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00025 | $0.00762 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00013 | $0.00381 |

Grade A, and why
workspace-morning-brief scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 47 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Workspace Morning Brief
Overview
A highly tailored morning brief that reads the user's saved trading profile, watchlist, and global theses, and cross-references them against current market data. It specifically looks for correlations (e.g., crypto proxies vs BTC), earnings events, news flow, and macro catalysts that impact the user's specific saved names.
Announce at start: "Running personalized morning brief -- reading workspace context and cross-referencing market catalysts..."
Execution Flow
STEP 1: READ CONTEXT (Required Sequence)
You MUST execute these tool calls first to understand what matters to the user today.
- Call
workspace_get_profileto read the trading style. - Call
workspace_list_watchliststo see which symbols are saved (focus on the 'core' watchlist). - If the user has saved symbols, call
workspace_get_thesisfor up to 3 of the most critical symbols to read the existing context.
STEP 2: FETCH TARGETED DATA
Based ONLY on the symbols found in the user's workspace, fetch relevant data using the MCP tools:
- Crypto Exposure Check: If the watchlist contains crypto-exposed equities (e.g., MARA, CIFR, COIN) or Bitcoin, you MUST fetch the current price and 24h change of BTC (using
tradingview_quoteforBINANCE:BTCUSDT). Evaluate the correlation and note if the stocks are tracking or diverging from the BTC move. - Event Risk Check: For active equity names (e.g., HOOD, SOFI), check for upcoming earnings today using
finnhub_earnings_calendarand recent news usingfinnhub_company_news. - Risk Tone Check: If the watchlist contains Gold or Silver (or proxies like GLD/SLV), fetch their current prices. Note any sharp moves that might change the overall market risk tone.
- Market Pulse: Fetch a basic S&P 500 / VIX quote (
tradingview_quoteforSPYandVIX) plusmarket_breadthwith universe=major_us to establish whether the baseline market direction is broad or narrow.
STEP 3: SYNTHESIZE THE BRIEF
Do NOT give a generic, broad market recap. Structure your response to answer the following questions specifically about the user's watchlist:
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

workspace-morning-brief is a skill published in the GitHub repository yyordanov-tradu/stock-scanner-mcp (6 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 25 tokens to every session and 762 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
